After a period of rest and rejuvenation, we are ready to welcome you back to the natural beauty, tranquility, and unmatched hospitality that you know and love. Whether you're returning for the serenity of our beachfront villas or discovering us for the first time, we can't wait to share the magic of Bar Reef with you once again.

Stretched over 2 km of private sandy beach, Bar Reef Resort in Kalpitiya offers rustic yet charming accommodation surrounded by landscaped gardens. From November to May, guests can hop on a daily boat in front of the Beach Club to watch dolphins and whales at close range. An infinity outdoor pool and on-site water sports activities are also available.
The villas and cabanas available are simple but well-furnished. Each comes with a seating area and a private garden. The private outdoor bathrooms are equipped with cold-water showers.
Bar Reef Resort is a 1-hour drive from Wilpattu National Park, famous for its leopards, elephants and bears. It is also a 2-hour drive from Bandaranaike International Airport. Colombo City is a 2-hour drive via the expressway.
From May to October, take exciting kite surfing lessons at in-house school. Guests can also take yoga lessons or relax at the Ayurveda Spa. Alternatively, just approach staff at the resort's tour desk to arrange a selection of day trips. Airport transfers are also available at an extra charge.
The on-site restaurant serves both international and Sri Lankan cuisines.

Плюсы:
Теплый и радушный прием. Сервис отличный. Домики душевно оформлены. Менеджер отеля организовал нам незабываемые поездки к дельфинам, киту и снорклинг. Команда отеля очень дружелюбная.

1. Есть возможность кайт сёрфинга
2. Отличный бассейн с классным видом, 3. аутентичные апартаменты
4. отзывчивый персонал
Минусы:
1. Везде ходят больные лишаем собаки из-за чего муз много
2. На стол для приема пищи залазят кошки и мухи соответсвенно.
3. Мало персонала, один раз пришёл в 8 часов на ресепшн - никого не было, был везде выключен свет. Жутковато.

Плюсы:
Очень хороший пляж, в марте спокойный океан, можно купаться. Доброжелательный персонал, хорошие завтраки. Отдельное спасибо шеф-повару, который приготовил вкуснейший ужин из морепродуктов, которые мы с мужем выбрали на рыбном рынке в Кальпитии (очень уж самим хотелось посмотреть что ловят местные рыбаки). Ездили на экскурсию смотреть дельфинов и китов, увидели, тех и других)) Незабываемо)) В отеле работает просто замечательный человек, чудесная Лилия профессионал своего дела - массажист.
Минусы:
В номерах немного темно.
