Set right on Ialysos Beach, just a 10-minute drive from Rhodes Town and the island’s airport, the Sun Beach Resort boasts excellent leisure and entertainment facilities for children and adults. Free WiFi is available throughout.
Sun Beach Resort consists of 2 buildings, one on the beachfront and the other one just 30 metres away, surrounded by 35,000 m² of gardens stretching all the way down to the sea.
The modern rooms have centrally controlled air-conditioning and heating (24-hour operation from June to September), satellite TV with music channels and internet access. Each includes a furnished private balcony or terrace with land, garden or sea view. Additional amenities include a writing desk corner, mini fridge, hairdryer, soundproof windows. Safety boxes are available at surcharge.
Guests can enjoy a swim in any of the 2 large fresh-water swimming pools plus an infinity adults only pool (minimum age 16 years old and above) where sun beds and parasols are provided free of charge. During the summer months, the hotel offers an extensive programme for kids, including a supervised mini club, cinema, 2 adventure playgrounds and a themed kids pool with an Octopus slide.
Dining options in Sun Beach Resort include 4 restaurants serving International and Mediterranean cuisine and 4 bars offering various beverages throughout the day. Several local delicacies are featured at the Greek Breakfast.
For the more active guests, there is a wide variety of sports facilities including a fitness centre, a tennis court, a 5x5 football court, beach volley and beach soccer court. Free private on-site parking is available.

Плюсы:
Очень вкусные завтраки и ужины. Нас заселили раньше чем было положено, за это спасибо) до Родоса курсирует Очень комфортабельный автобус за 4 евро (первый раз мы поехали на городском за 3 евро, но нужно идти минут 15 до остановке, битком набит и в нем очень жарко). Поэтому рекомендую заказывать из отеля.
Минусы:
Ни разу не видела, чтобы чистили бассейн во втором корпусе( который не у моря). Бассейн грязноват. Уборка возле амфитеатра после вечерних посиделок всегда была около 8-9 утра. Поэтому за завтрак шли через мусор, как-то не очень приятно. В остальном очень рекомендую этот отель, особенно для семей с детьми

Плюсы:
Отличный отель на свои деньги, хорошее питание. Нам дали огромный двухкомнатный номер с кухней, двумя санузлами и двумя балконами, хотя мы бронировали обычный номер. В холодильнике нам оставили комплимент: вино и фрукты.
Минусы:
Очень не хватало подогрева хотя бы в детском бассейне.
